By default, the TapeServer will use all of the network interfaces whose link status is "active". To control which network interfaces are used for data transfer, the following tools are available:
When the TapeServer generates the list of interfaces available for use in backup sessions, it lists the fastest interfaces first, followed by the slower interfaces. If multiple interfaces are connected at the same link speed, the TapeServer round robins the order of the interfaces in the list to balance the network load. For example, a 4-port TapeServer with net0 and net1 at 100Mb/sec will respond to the first request with net0, net1, net2 and net3. The response to the next request will be net1, net0, net3, net2.
